Stretch Beyond The Impossible
Road to Selma
As you are embarking on big races this year, and honestly, any race this year allow yourself to stretch beyond the Impossible. What does it mean when you see or hear the word “Impossible”? When I see the word “Impossible,” I see it with a whole new eye and perspective. I see “I’m Possible”; I know that I can do anything that I choose to do. I see possibility; I see a new view; I see hope; I see growth; I see a new way of being.
When we approach life and things in life as simply impossible, it will be “Impossible,” but when we come and live from a new lens of “I’m Possible,” then new life is formed.
So, as you embark on greatness this month, as you tackle the Selma Relay Race, as you embark on newness, half marathons, marathons, triathlons, ironman, stretch your mind past the impossible into I’m Possible. Trust the process; trust the training that you have done so far. Trust that you have prepared for this moment. Trust that you’re ready. Know that you are prepared. Know that you got this. Why? Because you are Possible. What are you doing is possible? What you want is achievable? Whom you choose to be is possible? What you choose to accomplish is possible. Remember, I’m Possible.
Stretch your mind to “I’m Possible” through these things
- Approach each challenge as that a new task, a new goal
- Break down the task/challenge into achievable goals
- Find ways/people to hold yourself accountable in achieving the goals
- Approach each day with fresh new eyes and concept
- Stretch past the I can’t and walk in the newness of I CAN.
When we allow ourselves to step outside the box and into the unwavering zones, we’re able to tap into the truth I’m Possible. Know that you have everything you need. Why? Because it lives within you. Honestly, the strength, endurance, and tenacity all live within you and are simply waiting for you to tap into them. So, trust your training, yourself, and remember, I’m Possible. When we release the hold of our minds…we can take control of our LIVES. Stretch out of the old way of thinking and step into the new way of thinking. What is that new way of thinking? The new way of thinking is “I’m Possible.”
