How do I join Black Girls RUN!?

It’s easy! Just find your group here and join the Facebook page. On the Facebook group, you can connect with our local Ambassadors, find their run schedule and get connected with the local running community.



What if there is no Black Girls RUN! group in my community? How do I join?

You can still join and be a part of BGR! Nation from anywhere in the world. Sign up for any of our national events or virtual runs, follow us on social media, sign up for our newsletter, purchase some gear and support the movement loud and proud!



Can I start a BGR! group in our community?

Thank you for your interest to start a group. Please fill out a New Group Request, and we will follow up with you on next steps. It is important we identify committed local Ambassadors and members to start a group. We typically onboard about 1-3 groups each year.



How do I become a BGR! Ambassador?

Being a BGR! Ambassador is a big deal! It’s not just wearing our shirt or just running a race, it’s about being a role model for the thousands of women in our community. Each of our BGR! communities have a local leadership called Ambassadors that are interviewed and selected to serve. Join the local group to find out when they are recruiting new Ambassadors. Is there a fee to join?

No, there is no fee to join! Just come out to run. We have events and virtuals that do incur costs, if you are interested in participating.



How can I get a run in my community?

You can become a run coordinator! Reach out to your local Ambassador to see how you can start leading a run in your community. We can never have too many run coordinators.



Where do I get a BGR! shirt?

You can shop at blackgirlsrun.com. We have presales about 3-4 times each year, where we have featured items on sale for a few weeks, and then items are shipped at a later date once the presale ends.



Do you have any merchandise in stock?

Sometimes we do! We have gear on site at events and sometimes we have flash sales on the website. These items are shipped out immediately, but they do go fast, so stay tuned to our social media for updates.



What is a national meetup?

A national meetup is like a Black Girls RUN! reunion on the pavement. We choose different races each year we partner with to feature double bling or special swag just for BGR! participants. We like to also plan other events over the race weekend to give our members opportunities to connect.



What is the order policy for merchandise?

Return Policy
We hope you love what you ordered. If you need to return an item to us for any reason, please read our return policy below. Black Girls RUN! wants to make buying gear as easy and painless as possible.

If there is any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return your order with us within 14 days from your original shipment date. All returns will be credited as online credit only. Please note that the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost. The return shipping is not refundable. Returns will be processed approximately 5 to 7 business days after we receive your return.

STEP 1: Email orders@blackgirlsrun.com  with your reason for return. Please include your original order number in your email to start your return.

If you have received defective or incorrect merchandise (style, size, color) you must contact orders@blackgirlsrun.com within 7 days of delivery date and provide a photo of the defect. You will be issued a full refund for this item and a return label will be sent to you to return the defective item.

  • All returned items MUST be unworn, unwashed merchandise. All goods will be inspected upon return. We try hard to accept all returns, and returns to us don’t need to be in the original packaging.
  • The original packing slip must accompany all returns.
  • Once we have received your package, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days. You will be notified via email at the email address listed on your account when your order was placed.
  • Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post the transaction to your account once they have received the refund from us.

Shipping Policy

How Often Do You Ship? 
We ship Monday-Friday. Orders usually take 7-10 business days to arrive; allow up to 2 additional days for rural zip codes.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to almost every country around the world. Email us orders@blackgirlsrun.com if you want to place an international order to avoid confusion and to ensure that we charge the correct amount.

What is a presale?
A presale is a process that Black Girls RUN! uses instead of having items in stock on new designs and styles. Orders are placed by customers during a designated timeframe, and when that time ends orders are placed. Orders will be shipped within 2-3 weeks after the presale ends. Presales do not allow for exchanges since we place the bulk order after the presale ends.
