Meet our Digital Content, Felicia Hall!

Q: What’s your favorite part about the writing process?
A: I love sharing my story and also educating other women such as myself on the importance of health and wellness.

Q: Where do you get your ideas for content that you write for Black Girls Run?
A: My own journey and others who have inspired me.

Q: What do you enjoy most about writing for Black Girls Run?
A: I love sharing my love for health and wellness with such an awesome community of black women. I love the mission and vision of the Black Girls Run it continues to inspire me in my own health journey.

Q: What was your best running experience?
A: My first BGR run in Charlotte it was my first race. I was so proud that I had accomplished something so big.

Q: What was your favorite race that you participated in?
A: The Dopey Challenge.. it was the most challenging race I had ever done. It was 4 days and 4 races. 5k, 10k, half marathon and then marathon. It was such a rush and to see all the Disney characters and run through all the parks was just magical.

Q: Why did you start running?
A: It was always a goal for me. I wanted to be able to run but never knew it would lead to such a huge running experience in my life. It became my love.

Q: What do you like to do for self-care?
A: Nice long bubble baths, reading, and sometimes it’s Netflix binges.

Q: What is your favorite healthy snack?
A: Hummus, carrots & celery

Q: What is one fun fact about you?
A: I used to play the violin.
