Dreama Graham
Get excited! It’s me, Dreama (Lula) Graham.
My journey with Black Girls RUN! (BGR!) began back in 2015 with the Jonesboro Jetts. After completing a half marathon, I decided I wanted to learn how to run a bit more. During our group runs, the conversations buzzed with talk about races, medals, and amazing travel experiences. It inspired me, and before I knew it, I was signing up for races and meeting fellow BGR! sisters on the pavement. I even completed two Abbott World Majors without realizing there was a coveted six-star medal involved. Of course, I’m determined to earn one!
BGR! has introduced me to so many incredible and inspiring individuals, both on and off the pavement. After suffering a stroke a few years back, it was the sight of my BGR! Sisters out there moving that motivated me to keep going, and for that, I’ll always be grateful. It’s truly an honor to represent my BGR! Sisters in Boston where I’ll be earning my six-star medal.
