BGR! Nation Announces Three New National Partnerships for 2020

Each year Black Girls RUN! establishes community race partnerships across the country to elevate BGR! Nation and the representation of African American women participating in races.

Earlier this year, BGR! Nation announced the Miami Marathon (February 8-9, 2020) as their first meetup of 2020 as part of a new partnership with the race. 

We are excited to now announce THREE new races to our 2020 meetup schedule for next year, including The Civil Rights Race Series Selma to Montgomery 51 Mile Relay (March 21, 2020) and Bike Race and the Novo Nordisk New Jersey Marathon (April 25-26, 2020) and the Queens Pace 5K/10K by Pace Runs (July 2020). 

 

Each race will feature double bling opportunities or a special swag item for all BGR! members! BGR! Registration is now open for the Selma to Montgomery 51 Mile Relay and registration will open for the NJ Marathon in September. The Queens Pace Run registration will open in December. More information will be announced!

Selma to Montgomery 51 Mile Relay
The March 21, 2020 relay event will celebrate the 55th year anniversary of the bridge crossing. The Team Captain will go to the Run Sign Up registration page and click on the Sign Up tab. Enter your information or click on your name if you already have your information saved. Scroll down to BGR 51 Mile Relay or the BGR Virtual Relay to register. The virtual registrations are single sign ups. The cutoff date is November 21, 2019 to receive the BGR! double bling.
