More than a quarter of a million people have taken part in Dash since its founding. There are more than 100,000 children and adults waiting for an organ transplant in the U.S. – and more than half of them are from multicultural communities. People from communities of color are at a higher risk of developing conditions that lead to kidney disease, such as diabetes and high blood pressure, the leading causes of kidney failure. Twenty people die each day in the U.S. waiting for a transplant, making organ donation a critical public health issue, especially for diverse communities.

Donor Dash spreads awareness of how important it is to register to become an organ and tissue donor – one of the most compassionate decisions we can make.
