What does running mean to you?

“…Back in stride again!…”

After so many challenges over the past 1.5 years, I count it a blessing to freely move my body and challenge it to perform amongst one of the greatest cities in America!

What are you looking forward to most about this race?

Completing my 1st full marathon while representing Black Girls RUN!, support of my friends, family, and loved ones from my home. Representing in front of others that If I can do it, so can you!

Why Black Girls RUN!?

Why not??? I’m black, I’m a girl, and I run!!! Seriously, I love the momentum, support, encouragement, sisterhood, vibrance, drive, dedication and mission of Black Girls RUN!
