#BGREats: Post Workout Meal

084 After a hard workout you always need to have a great post meal. I am not talking about eating everything in sight, because you are so hungry. I am talking about a nice portioned meal.  One of my favorite post workout meals is 4oz. of  skinless salmon,  1/2 cup of brown rice and asparagus. I seasoned the salmon with minced garlic, salt and pepper. I squeezed the juice from a lemon over the salmon and then cut the lemon into slices and placed it on top. I placed it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours before cooking. After letting it marinate, I seared the salmon in a non-stick pan for about 10 minutes total (5 minutes on one side and then flip to the other side for about 5 minutes). I seasoned the asparagus with minced garlic, salt and pepper. I drizzled a little bit of olive oil over them and let them cook slowly in a wok pan. I boiled two cups of brown rice in a small saucepan.
